Fun ride today! I baked a tray of home made reflectors to serve with Tim’s donuts. The fake rusted berries went fast. Tim @Tim the Skid and Seth @Schwinn1776 and I had fun meeting new riders this year. @azcyclist Robert showed up on this blue Schwinn and took us on a pit stop to peek at his bike collection. Mike and Julia showed up with an old Schwinn Twinn tandem with an electric motor assist. Seth rode his 36 Ace badged bike and Tim was on his latest Columbia. I rode Gramp's 41 New World. We had a blast cruising through town and weaving through the festivities around the lake. We made it back to the lot without loosing any skin this year. Gary @GTs58 pulled up in his truck and talked bikes and Phoenix lore with us into the afternoon. Two years of rides with friends and it keeps getting better. See you next year!

Had a great time today! Good group of guys, welcomed my wife and myself like old family (slightly dysfunctional of course) but great fun nonetheless!
First day CABER, but looks like I found a new home!

Welcome two up Mike! and his lovely bride Julia. We made new friends today and got a new CABE member. Thanks for the great reflectors Miq. ( even though I thought it was a tray of edibles)

Great ride today in the valley of the sun. So nice to meet up with CABE members from different parts of the country and share our fondness of these old bicycles

The best part of the day for me was seeing my old CABE friends and meeting new ones. Robert, Mike and Julia, just great people. But the biggest surprise of all was meeting @GTs58 in the flesh. I've communicated with Gary through the CABE since 2018 but we've never had a face to face until today. I can't show his face because of his lofty security clearance with his employer, but he did allow me to take a photo after he put his kit on. Thanks for making the effort to show up Gary! (or whatever your real name is)
