Had a great time today! Good group of guys, welcomed my wife and myself like old family (slightly dysfunctional of course) but great fun nonetheless!

I wonder where Tempe gets off at calling that a lake. Would they call something like this in Washington a ditch pond?

In Eastern Washington where the majority of farming exists, it would be an irrigation pond or reservoir and commonly referred to as a canal. Definitely not a lake. The outlet at the west end where the water is released would be a spillway.
