My new find. Been hanging up in a Bike shop for decades. 1961 Corvette 5 speed Serial number F129630 June 15, 1961. Will wipe the dust off today and post more pics when I get off work.

Holy Mary @Swinnagain64 !!!!!! What a super nice Corvette 5! I hope that bike shop gave you some interesting little details about this piece. Looks to have been used for a time but it appears to be mostly all original and well cared for while being used. I wonder if just the spoke protector that was replaced. Congratulations!

This Bike belonged to the previous owner of the bike shop and was in his personal collection. Original tires holding air. I also acquired a December 1970 Kool Lemon Manta Ray in the deal. I can't wait to get some sun light on the paint once dust is gone. It's amazing how well preserved the paint and decals have survived. More pics coming later today!! Cheers!

Early derailleur with the black mount. Looks like the spoke protector has been replaced with a later version having the lip on the edge. Great example! ... Love that Green!

The original owner updated the spoke protector and freewheel. Chainguard on the (1968?)14-28 freewheel. The Radiant Green really pops in the sunlight! I need to get mine cleaned up for some sunshine pictures.

Why were so many of these, and freewheel, changed out, when clearly some of these bike were hardly used and taken care of... not reliable/upgrade ... ?
