During that BMX era were a lot of gold options, handle bars, Araya rims. Would look good with black, red and blue.
Or it could have been painted.

Sadly no colors but it looks like the price was $25.99 which does not seem horrible according to this 81 price list.

The one I have is worn but it's Gold. Identical to the one on Red DeLuxe Cruiser.
If you look close to the racks one style mounts to brake bridge and the other style to fender mount. The tubes that are on the front of rack have a different design pattern.

So you are the one who snaked that from me! LOL

2 years ago when he originally posted about that rack I had contacted him about buying it. At the time, he declined to sell it. He sent me a PM recently to see if I was still interested in it. When I replied back to him about it, he told me he had already sold it. I was out on a fishing trip on my boat when I got the message, and didn't reply back right away, so he stated that he figured I was not interested in it..................!

That lobster looks to be finished in Chestnut Brown with Kool Orange trim.
