Schwinn Double Straight Bar Thread

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
I just picked up this double straight bar frame that has extra bolstering welds at certain points...did they make a Heavy Duti style frame like this? I know we discussed this style welds in the Heavy Duti thread, but I assumed that was just for "regular style" cantilever frames...I don't think this is a homemade job, but over it"s 62-ish year life span, all kinds of fun could have happened...odd chainguard tab too...thanks for any help.

1961 Schwinn Tornado

I was recently gifted this original paint Tornado. My friends dad passed away and she contacted me to see if I'd want it, otherwise it was getting tossed out.
Her dad owned it since new. Serial # A119005 checks out to be 1961. It is missing the pedals, grips, tires, tubes and the original seat.

Lucked into a Typhoon at auction a few weeks ago for $22 ... good metal but wheels are scrap... prob go original but don't know if I want black or red ...
