He mentioned it had the wrong size tires on it. They look like the skinny 1 3/4" S7 Kenda's to me. Smaller than the Westwinds!
GTs58, you are absolutely correct. Kenda 1 3/4" S7 replacement tires.

Congratulations on the Heavy Duti!

I just love my ‘72 Heavy Duti, rode it as a commuter a lot this fall, VERY reliable.

I call mine “Mignonette” (cracked black peppercorns) given the peppering on the plating…

My dog running and short beer run bicycle, 1972 vintage, Nexus 3 speed hub, alloy ballooner rims, 12 volt period generator lamp.
I still have the original parts, but 3 speeds are nice coming home with a case in the basket.

Isn't it odd that there is no mention of a Kingsize Hevi Duty Schwinn bicycle in the 1965 Schwinn Dealer Catalog, or the 1965 customer handout catalog? Or '66? or '67, or '68 or '69?

If this is an attempt to discredit the catalogs as not a valid source of reference? I see where you are going. I however own 2 of them and unlike some of the disputed bikes discussed this one is easy to spot and a catalog or dealer hand out is not needed to determine what model bike they are. Unfortunately not all discrepancies from print to actual bike bike are as obvious as this one.
