Got this nifty air speedo from Caber Old Iron Bob this week and after modifying the bracket a bit mounted it beside the machine guns on my P51, I mean Hex Tube. When I’m on a strafing run I don’t need no Stewart Warner, I need to know my air speed!

Flight Leader to Tower: “I’m coming in on a wing and a prayer…!!!”

I picked up a 1938 Columbus by Westfield for the dropstand for another project and was surprised to find the stand rusted through. The rest of the bicycle is in good condition just missing the rear reflector and a couple loops of the skirt guard. It has a neat horn and may be original bell that needs some lube to work well. Saved a 1985 Trek 400 series with a goat eaten seat(according to the owner). Now to find new owners for them, happy hunting all.

Got a call yesterday from the bicycle donation center that they had three junkers for me that they were going to toss. Grabbed three decent girls parts bikes. Last week, In the process of finding who got that 1936 Shelby, I talked to a fellow bicycle guy and he said he has a tons of parts he needs to get rid of. I headed over there last night and filled the jeep with good random bike stuff. Got up super early this morning and met up with @coasterbrakejunkie1969 in the middle of nowhere about halfway between our houses to do a trade and to grab the Westfield he grabbed for me last week. Such a great bike going to be a great project at some point. I also traded him two bikes for this awesome cycle truck. Stopped by @genesmachines on the way home this morning to grab this Snyder parts bike for some parts I needed to help complete my banana tank survivor project. Some bicycle adventures this weekend. Was nice to catch up with everyone. Now off to do family fall stuff. Happy Sunday.

That Challenger project has pretty cool patina...even with the weld repairs. Never seen one with Challenger on the chain guard, BFG badged?

It’s a Whizzer frame with the squished chain/seat stay on one side. I think the guard and springer were added. Haven’t looked at anything yet.
