Gettin my 34 Twin Bar ready for the upcoming SF Ride,started by runnin some new cloth wire through the bars for a better look,mounted my Hood Ornaments from a few months and added a 48 Pontiac with lucite wings,A nice 48 Silver King Gumball machine,a rather hard to find Mendocino Sheriff emblem,sure do remember that emblem,,when I ran pounds of flower Southbound down the 101 in the mid eighties,,and some signs ,toys and tins ....Have A Nice Day

First I need to give a huge shoutout to @Nashman. After three years of looking for a motor for my pedal boat Bob provided a lead that panned out and my project is complete!

Next, I finally joined the Commander club. I should have bought this bike four years ago when it was listed here but it went to Oklahoma instead. I’m going to restore this in wheat and red and it should be a straight forward restoration.

Great day at Fitchburg !!!! Thanks to the great team that puts the show on. Got some great stuff there. Including a bunch of local bicycle history. A great collection of photos from a bunch of meets the late Jim Huntington use to put on. As well as some great parts and a few license plates. Some of the other stuff I got here on the CABE and from local sales.

Picked up my first riding helmet this week. My old man turned 75 this week and I wanted him to start wearing a helmet on his rides. Has had a couple of close calls. I knew it would be easier to get him on board with it if I got one too. Wore it on my rides yesterday. Really not that bad, and why not be a little safer.
