You can check it for yourself, but I had the fellas right here help me with the serial#, and we came up with the year 1937. Please explain how you are coming up with 1938?

38 is the first model yr for that style ( 3 gill ) frame.

That’s a one year only frame, so it has to be a 38 model no matter what the serial number says.
