Marvin Bix, 25, Seymour Berman, 21, and David Binder, 15, put their bikes on a train in Minneapolis and traveled to Duluth, along Lake Superior, during the summer of 1946.

They placed their rides on a boat, and went to Port Arthur (Thunder Bay), Ontario. Finally, the trio pedaled 343 miles back to Minneapolis.

Note the Dayton bicycle on the far left.
