I know what you mean, but who can believe anything that comes out of Mr.Armstrong's mouth, he's forever a liar to me; but Pogacar was definitely 'pumped up' at the finish, just adrenaline, who knows?
But all of this breakiing of Marco's records on the climbs, it inevitably makes you wonder?
I hope he's clean.
Same could be said about Jonas after his serious accident in April. To be in second in this year's TDF is pretty amazing. The conditioning and training of these riders are mind blowing.

@dnc1 me too. Been rooting for Tadej since '20 when he won his first of two.

Yeah, for sure!
Tadej figured on worst case scenario, that he’d need at least four minutes going into the final TT, to rest easy, so that’s what that big push today was all about.
Now, he’s got a safe cushion and a ton of confidence going into the last mountain road stage, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.
My guess is, that Remco may try to better his placing if he can.
It was good to see that Matteo was able to move back into the top ten today.

After the race during Tadej's interview, he said something to the affect that he's just going to enjoy the stage tomorrow and mentioned that he was going to let the break away win. If that's not confidence, I don't what else he could do. The race within the GS is now between Jonas and Remco; they are only less than two minutes apart.

Stage 20, turned into another drag race for the finish between Vinegegaard and Pogacar.
The Hollywood script writers couldn’t have told this story any better.
