What’s everyone bringing to the JAFCO (JAF/CO) swap meet (10/12/2024)
Fantastic swap today! Thanks Jim for hosting another fantastic event! . I had a great time talking with everyone, perusing the swap and drooling over Jim’s amazing collection. Found a few good bits to drag home too.
In case you missed it. This bike came to market at jafco and now has a new home. It was in Fabers (San Jose CA) shop floor when it was open and used in a photo shoot when they produced their one and only calendar in circa 2008/9.
11 1/2 hour drive each way. 23 + hours in a van with @ Jeff the Skid to the Jafco swap meet in Stockton CA. Tired? Yes. Regret it ? NO. The people of Northern Cali are family to us and we cherish the time we get to spend with them. Jim Frazier is the ultimate host. We wouldn't trade the chance to experience this for anything. We came to sell and we did. ( a little) On the way down we said to each other " no more bikes!" LIARS!! But the bikes we are bringing back will bring smiles to the faces of the people we bought them for. ( I think Jeff bought them for himself) I got a couple Stingrays for my Grandkids. And OK, one for myself.
