Those are beautiful, well done! Two questions: what did you use to adhere the blanket to the pan, and how many layers of blanket did you use, just the one?
Thank you! I used two layers, one over just the seat area, and another going to the edges of the pan. I made fabric washers to level first, although I found that leather, skived to shape, worked better. Fabric tacky glue holds it in place. I used barge cement on the edge of the leather to secure it to the pan, before putting the base back on.

Update: The 38, 4 bar "Mrs. Salty" is ready to assemble. Frame and Frt. end, Worked, Faux'ed, ready to go.

She's finished! Yes I said She!
Mr. and Mrs. "Salty" The 38'ers!
The "Salty Lady" 1938 Monark 4 Bar.
I've always really like my Salty Men's 38, 5 Bar, he needed a mate. The goal has really not been a 100% match with the 5 Bar, but to make her look like they grew old together in the same old barn, with the same old farming couple.
Lots of labor went into this one. Making authentic "Scruffy" can be a challenge.
She get's her 1st date today (test ride)! Still would like to find a scruffy Front Loader for her!

Looks like you hit the mark. I’m convinced Ma and Pa here have never left each other’s side. Nice salty pair those two😁

5 hours later my Roadmaster Delivery is alive. Started out by heating and removing the stuck stem and headset. Next I straightened the fork and put it back on. Then I tore down my '57 Schwinn Cycle Truck for parts and transferred many to this rat. After all that I headed out into the dark for a short test ride, made shorter by me remembering that I forgot to install a brake strap. Such a smooth laid back rider though, maybe some day I'll even paint it.

Today's Project was more crust removal. I've since changed this saddle, stem and bars.
I spent a little time getting the tank cleaned off recently and today I got to finish the other side and see what the eras have left for me.

Hard to believe such punchy red was waiting under there. The more I go with this one. The happier I am in the discoveries, apart from the deco stem it came with being absolute tinfoil. Even still, the upgrades and cleaning are really showing their worth. Can't wait to show it in the light after all this.

Looks like we're matching schemes, @mrg !
Happy Murray Hiawatha Sunday.

Finished up my childhood Klunker and put it away finally. Its great to have it in my peripheral now every day. I joined the Cabe to identify the bike a year ago and fell in love with Vintage bikes. Been pedaling and buying stuff every day since ! It’s a disease and its that gang that posts in what did you ride todays fault ! :)

Shimano 3CC for a trike. One of the most simple 3 speeds to take apart thus far, no special tools needed.

Last but not least(well ok, maybe it is a lot more simple), another Schwinn Approved front hub, made by Union. 8mm dia x 1mm thread pitch.
