Alright, I'm not looking for 'correct' though........I'm looking for something that will work and look good. I'm most likely going to use something super skinny on the front, possibly from a ten speed. I'm planning on something chopper like.

Another possibility and possibly (most likely) stupid question........

I ran across this photo on another site and was wondering if anyone had done this with success and what the ride quality was like? I did contact the owner of the bike in the photo but he never got past the mock-up stage with it like that. It certainly looks cooler (IMO at least) with the kicked out front end. I was kind of trying to avoid a Schwinn springer (yawn) just because everyone else has one but maybe it's not a bad idea:

In this configuration I’d say it would operate just fine but the load on the spring would be increased significantly. A wizzer spring could help with that. They’re a heavier version of the same spring I’m told and offer a stiffer ride and are compatible with these fork yokes. I’ve never tried it though!

Somewhat.......but how much do you really turn the bars on an old Cruiser anyway? BTW, this bike with be getting a set off a '68 Stingray. They're my favorites, just like on my '64 American.......

I like the chopper idea with the skinny up front. I tinkered with a couple board track themed builds long ago but never raked out the front end on any. At least not since I was a kid.

Wheel flop can be more of an annoyance at low speed, 1 or 2 mph and particularly when you have low slung bars.

I LOVE the board track racer look but it's impractical for riding if it isn't motorized.
Yup. They look super cool but I’m tall so I didn’t enjoy cruising around on them much so took them apart before getting to invested.
