View attachment 100909View attachment 100910View attachment 100911I have a 1896 stearns yellow fellow special . If your not familiar with stearns yellow fellow bikes they were really known for making the first rear steering tandem. Every part of there bicycles are proprietary to there bikes. The hubs are stearns hubs, the chain is a stearns stamped black chain, pedals are stearns , bars, even seat poet and saddles, etc. You will not see any of there parts on any other bikes. They were the Bentley of bicycles if the time! In 1986 the stearns yellow fellow special was $125 !! This bike has been cared for throuout the years and is totally original except instead of Palmer tires ( which probably were worn out) it has some turn of the century US special racer tires. The tires are phenomenal ! They both hold air , the rubber is flexible and suptle, and you can ride on them! They really look like NOS tires put in this bike. They are no tread tires (slicks) and the original rubber fins are still attached in the back . The front tire has a little bit of wear but not much! The paint is all original enamel paint . The badge is actually painted on headtube which is diflfent. The pin striping is nice and still present . The majority of the nickel plating is nice. The bars have a light layer of surface rust but honestly I like the way it looks. I would like to trade this bike for a premium 30's ballon tire bike or teens or 20's deluxe ( like a big tank) motorbike . Pm me with what you have to trade!

Cash price $2200 OBO lower 48 ! Will still consider good trades! The tires alone on this bike are worth (conservatively ) $500.
