Isn't there some requirement the bike be classic or antique? Say 20 years old or more? I would think 2010 is too contemporary and better suited to a modern bike forum anyway. It seems off-topic for here.

I agree with SirMike1983 and Dave Stromberger about it being off-topic and doomed!

It seems strange that there have not been any more postings from BillyG or photographs added as requested by @coasterbrakejunkie1969. The chatbot-sounding language may be precise but the logic can be flawed. Like this supposed critique: "The only issue may be the aluminum rimmed wheels which appear designed with appropriate physical durability and detail." How is that an issue or problem when this sentence praises the bike and is then followed with more praise?
If these entries are not being done in service to Fuji-Ta Bicycle Co. Ltd as @Oilit suggested, then there is a possibility that the original post could be a chatbot training exercise, and it is learning from our responses to refine its abilities for unknown purposes for dubious operators. The CABE would just be a small proving ground in which this foray was a failure.
@coasterbrakejunkie1969 recommended a bit more vetting for new members. If we get more bots, that may be needed. We will know soon enough!

Good luck Moderators!

It's already pretty hard to vet new members without making it difficult for them, and us. But if AI bots end up flooding forums, we'll be forced to do something more extreme... I dread the thought of it!

To Mr. Oilit: Thank you for your kind comment concerning unusually precise language. To Mr. coasterbrakejunkie1969: My original post is of my own creation, no chatbot or AI herein. I am a rather private person. However, my other restorations with extensive publication include: 1962 Corvette (Chevrolet), 1956 Vespa, 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Model Convertible, 1959 Alcort Sunfish and 1953 Hamilton Beach Malt-mixer. Experienced Researcher? Mr. Stromberger is surely concerned about the frequency of ill-written posts and "AI" impact, as it should be. And, no place for confrontation in forums.

Throughout my 54 year career in private and public executive employment, one of the most important classes I experienced was (1967) U.S. Army O.C.S.--Effective Writing. "Leave nothing to Misunderstanding".

Returning to the subject of this Thread: Schwinn Riverside models are without much discussion and appear to be quite rare. Replies Welcomed.

Do you have pics of the bike you're talking about? There are a lot of rare bikes out there but unless it's desirable usually not a lot of interest.

There have been three different incarnations of Schwinn. The first was owned by the Schwinn family from the beginning until it went bankrupt in 1992. Most of their bikes were made in Chicago until 1982, when they shut the Chicago plants down. They subcontracted with Murray (Lawrenceville TN) for a couple of years, then most of their production was taken over by Giant in Taiwan, although they still produced small numbers of high end models in the U.S. until the end. The Scott Sports Group bought Schwinn after the first bankruptcy and continued to import the bulk of their bikes although they also produced some high end models in the U.S.
Schwinn went bankrupt a second time in 2001 when it was taken over by Pacific Cycle/Dorel, and as far as I know, all of their bikes have been made in Taiwan or China, probably under contract by various manufacturers. Most of the members on this forum are mainly interested in the Chicago-built models. Some of the later models are interesting but are not old enough for nostalgia and are priced in line with other used bikes. Most of the rest are considered "Wal-Mart" bikes (Always the low price, always!) and attract zero interest. Like @Freqman1 said, if you have something unusual or interesting, pictures will help.
