Nice find at spare parts fair for old cars and motorcycles in France a WW1 TROXEL military model saddle stamped U.S.A. 😺
The saddle carriage is not the correct model.

This thread is great and really peaked my interest in these bicycles.

My new mission is to find one of these in the wild, from any manufacturer at some point in my life.

I doubt the probability of it happening (scrap piles) but one can hope.

I think I may venture into making a tribute (has this been done?) from a teens double bar frame.. if I find a suitable candidate.

They are still out there. There are a lot that never made it to Europe. Columbia even had them listed in their catalog for the American market.
