Mixed bag this week as per usual. Got out on the 2024-1200cc Triumph Bobber the other day, great local rip/out in the farmland quick. Same area tonight in the '61 Vette with my GF Heather along for the ride. Got an addition to my tin Bandai Japan Messerschmitt tin car collection ( added a blueish green) and a 2 tone blue Haji Japan Edsel with OG box ( amazed it survived in this box from the UK!), kinda did a group shot.

My Son was Batching it this weekend ( His GF went on a trip with my Daughter and my Ex to Montreal) so Devan my Son and his Son/my Grandson Jaylen came by for a rocket ship/'58 Pontiac ride and a dip in the pool. I have a restored '67 CCM Mustang bicycle being delivered tomorrow, hung A couple of Sting Rays to make room.

Found this sweet 37? Rollfast a few weeks ago thanks to @coasterbrakejunkie1969 for picking it up for me and meeting me halfway across NY. Picked up another bike from him and brought it to @bicyclebones in Sodus Ny on the way back home. Got to see his shop.. Impressive! and great finally meeting him real nice guy. Made it back home.. then this green phantom project popped up super duper cheap,, then I headed right back out to sodus area where I was that morning lol. Phantom looks ok. I might build it if I can find patina matching parts reasonable. Front fender is so rotted out no idea how that could happen?!?? Nice uranium glass set and couple of tins at the flea this morning. Summer has officially begun as wife and kids are now both off for the summer. Happy Sunday!

Great image!
The Lovell Diamond and later Iver Johnson with nearly identical frames are, in my opinion, the strongest frames made during the hard tire safety/cushion tire safety period 1887-1892 whether they were fitted with hinged or head tube steering heads. I've owned both bicycles and never had any frame failures or flexing. I would say the Victor Model A hard tire safety frame would come in a close second if strength of the frame is concerned and it had a steering head tube. The Lovell Diamond, Iver Johnson and Victor Model A all had the similar curved top frame tubes. Victor would have been first to build this style frame in 1888 then Lovell Diamond in 1889 then Iver Johnson in 1890 copying what seemed to work well.
