Rode a ‘38 Colson DBR rat

Supposed to have a few really nice days now before rain comes back

I rode 25 miles today.

Clear & sunny here today, same bike, same start,
green-light straight to the dirt-side & high Voltage substation,
and the concrete riverbed echoes...

bombed down for fun at the cliffs, also nice "picture spot"...

Rolled up Warner to the shop for my check, then back to the beach...

Beautiful 40 miles today, home for lunch.

Locked out the suspension on the 2012 Specialized Stumpjumper and went 36 miles yesterday. The extra 12 came from a nice young fellow on a road bike that paced with me. Being stubborn has its gifts too ! No way I would have made it without the nice conversation. Started thinking about my comfy prewar saddles on the way back as well.

Rode a ‘41 BFG DX today

Nice brisk fall day today

Kinda funny there’s this “Free little Library” on a single track section of the trail

If you turn immediately to your right this is the view of Whitehorse mtn through the trees. Pictures don’t do the scenery here justice, it’s even more beautiful in person.

Rode 44 miles today.

Rode the Elgin Hotrod today still working out a few bugs. It still rides nice. Had a great time on this beautiful fall day here in the Northeast. Stay safe and have fun. Hammerhead

Took the 53 Monark out and got 3 miles. The right pedal shaft sheared off at the crank arm. So I had the walk of shame home to replace the original pedal with a Union waffle pedal. Went back out and rode the rest of the afternoon.I guess a seventy year old pedal doesn’t owe me any money.

Took the day off and went for a ride through Scottsdale to the Hydro House and down to the Tempe Town Lake. 15miles
