Rode the '61 Panther III around the neighborhood. Tried to catch the solar eclipse? Pretty much a nonevent here. Did not see a whole lot. Great ride and fun time regardless. Stay safe and have fun. Hammerhead

Happy Saturday!
Taking it easy on the Heavy Duty Western Flyer.
Left late, traffic switched my route, ended up at the beach, HB pier.

Watched a couple surfers drop in "Double-overhead" waves today.

Chased 2 SPITFIREs into down-town, to bike-chat.
20 miles today.

Got out for a ride on my 2012 Nirve Wildchild flat track-TT style bomber. Pics are pre ride.

Snow is still hanging around up high after a cold storm now past. Rode the modern mtb's. We're all old (over 65) but fit, riding 17.5 miles in 2.5 hrs with 2800 feet of technical climbing and descending today. Fantastic high alpine loop with old friends riding bikes. A fine day for sure.

I bought these 2 bikes today at the JAF/co swap
got em home did a fast wipe down, oil & air and tighten this & that safety pre-op inspection on the bike stand
and a 6 mile trouble free shake down ride both smooth
Ill take them apart and go through everything and they should be great riders
The wife loves the 46 .

Rode a ‘38 Colson DBR rat today

Rode in the dark about an hour. Put some different wheels and fat franks on after I wasn’t satisfied with ride a few days ago.

Ran into a guy who was walking, high on drugs on something? Was threatening me if I passed him, it was still kinda dark and in middle of nowhere so rerouted my ride. First time out here that I’ve ever ran into an unfriendly person.

Rode 20 miles this morning.
