I'm afraid it may be a couple of months. I am in the process of collecting "prewar" components, CNC machining specific weldments, stripping the chrome from some of the old parts then tig welding on the weldments, before re-chroming them ( AND now chroming is illegal in California, so the parts will have to be shipped out of state, or to Mexico).

it's going to be some killer fun kit when it is done though!

Chrome plating is not illegal in California... Using hexavalent chromium will be after 2027, and good riddance- it is nasty stuff. Trivalent chrome is and will be legal. It is a different process and some shops won't bother to adapt.
