Let’s see some late 70’s/early 80’s Cruisers and Spitfires

Yep, after closer inspection the frame, head badge, cranks, sprocket, chain guard are OG from a 5 speed Schwinn Cruiser ... the fork is a replacement, painted and decaled, also it doesn't have the larger axle diameter at the wheel mount. Frame has cable wear on both sides. Schwinn S-2 coaster brake wheel set is very clean.

So what’s the game plan? Roll with it? Or bring it back to the original ?

What year is your bicycle? ... I don't find or see many 1982 dated Schwinn Cruisers, noticed yours has reflector bow pedals like mine? ... Nice Cruiser!

1981. This one had Wald fenders on it, those were removed quickly. Very clean, Bike is from Scareletts bike shop Pontiac Mi

Yeah, those braces are certainly too long in the front, making the fender "dip" down under the fork crown.
Beautiful paint on that bike!!

Makes me want to go start detailing the my red Spitfire!

I finally detailed my 77 Spit about a month ago. Bike is gorgeous

Geez, that is really nice! It sure would be nice to find these where I live. What's the serial and head badge numbers? These have been popping up with bow pedals, what's up with that?
