A couple more that have shown up recently.

This one was for sale in Modesto and the seller pulled it changing his mind about selling. Serial is H115651. All parts look original.

This one sold on eBay 8/22/23 with a best offer. Lots of parts have been replaced. Posted price was $1000.

Wow! That's the first one I've seen that's way up North! What's the plan for that? With a little cleaning and slight adjustments that should make a nice rider. It's actually a 1962 model, all the L15 November 27 serial Corvettes are 1962's with the extra chrome parts, U shaped cable guides and 2 rivet Mesinger. Is there a cable guide underneath the top tube just before the seat tube? Looks like they missed that cable guide when they redid the shifter cable. The original hard to find derailleur is still there.

Is there a cable guide underneath the top tube just before the seat tube? Looks like they missed that cable guide when they redid the shifter cable. Yes! There is a cable guide there. Thanks for the info! I’m going to clean it up and ride it for now. Might be convinced to sell it! We shall see

I would at least get the correct Schwinn crank, the drive pin on that crank isn't even in the sprocket hole. The shifter cable is bare from the shifter to the first cable guide under the top bar. then a short piece of casing is used from there to the other cable guide on the seat stay behind the seat tube.

Found another Black one! This is Brett's October 25th 1961 and another October SN'd frame with the 1962 style U cable guides. Good chance the frame was made in 1961, but I can't say if the bike was built in 1961. It does have the 1961 three rivet Mesinger, Cad plated stand and fender braces though.
