STOLEN TRAILER,,,all my parts.. and bikes

What did insurance say ? Was this covered under home owners or do you need a separate rider? What did they offer ? sorry for all the questions,just trying to find out what Cabers should do to insure their bike,etc.

You have to have the trailer insured and the contents have to be insured. Your auto policies and homeowners do not cover anything related to a trailer.

I had a tree that the wind split and blow over and it landed on my truck that was thirty feet away. No comp on the truck and my homeowners would not pay for the damage, or the removal. But they would have paid for the damage if it was my neighbors truck!

Travelers insurance.. it was part of the geico group for home owners. . they said it not a driveway and not insured. Even though it’s my property but on the road disqualify it.. I told them it’s dangerous to keep it on my driveway... doesn’t matterthey said .... Better make sure your stuff in trailers are covered.

I got on their butt and asked for it in a written statement. So I got a call and they changed their minds and accepted bikes and parts as personal and will be insured. But what I can’t understand is why the trailer is not...it’s personal property but they said it’s in the fine print... hope this helps those who have stuff stored.. please take pics of it all no matter how small... that’s what saved my a— on it but what I get out of it will be determined soon...probably won’t be much in consideration of what they did to me on the trailer.

No tab, Big Daddy ... place the unit in that
li'l Davis ... lose those fenders .. get a 5/8''-
handlebar with a 3/4'' ferrule ... often called
a Schinneer Bar .... and a stem that matches
that bar ...

Here's a set o' bars I heat-bent perfectly in
2015 for my little Davis-Built. I will never
make another set ... just too tedious .....
(see very last line in this post)

The saddle is a juvi .. as are the grips ....

Started with a set of juvi Schinneer bars.

They work and look swell ... but I had to
go the distance. Still building the machine.
