Rode a ‘41 Monarch deluxe today
Mid 30’s this morning, low 50’s at end of ride
and sunny all day.
I actually saw a rider today other than my friend Walt. Can ride for a week sometimes and not see anyone . It’s like having your own trail most the time! 25 mi today.

First ride of many to come.
1937 Elgin Oriole. Picked it up this morning.
A lot of it isn't correct, some things will change. Wanted one of these for a long time.
First change will be servicing the brake, which doesn't brake.

Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Another 39 miles on this today, including some ascending.....
... it was a V-CC ride with a few newbies and a 'new' old bike that my friend MM bought out for the first time since being renovated.
It's another classic lightweight from a marque unknown to me, anyone else ever seen "The Sibbit' before?.....

Around a mile from home my saddle started wobbling.
I thought it was the clamp that had worked loose, but on closer inspection.....
...could have been catastrophic/possibly comical if it had happened earlier in the day.
I rode home the last mile dancing on the pedals, as they say.
Will see if it's repairable in the morning.
