I actually saw a rider today other than my friend Walt. Can ride for a week sometimes and not see anyone . It’s like having your own trail most the time! 25 mi today.
My Le Tour will turn 49 years old in June yet looks and rides as if brand new. A true testament to Schwinn’s excellent quality. Logged 14 miles on today’s ride.
Another 39 miles on this today, including some ascending.....

Around a mile from home my saddle started wobbling.
I thought it was the clamp that had worked loose, but on closer inspection.....
...could have been catastrophic/possibly comical if it had happened earlier in the day.
I rode home the last mile dancing on the pedals, as they say.
Will see if it's repairable in the morning.
