Rode a ‘38 Colson DBR rat today

Got an early start before sun came up.

Just completed this build from parts on hand

. Had a few mechanical issues, started the day riding terrific but developed rear hub problems. Got in 65 mi with problems, may be out riding with my wife later on our tandem.

Thanks, rattle canned Rust-oleum “spring green” toned way down with gray, black and oxide primer overspray. Then wet sanded. My first attempt at fake patina on whole bike.

Started out on a first Whizzer ride. 46 DX. Good times. Then over to The Habit for lunch with Milo. Hes on a 26" now. 61 Evans and I rode old faithful, my 41 Colson snap tank.

Ride #2 today, I rode our Co-Motion tandem with my wife

My wife Brenda rode 10 miles more than I think she really wanted to or planned for 35 mi today. The extra 10 mi helped get me to 100 mi total for today with my earlier ride on the ‘38 Colson. Thanks Brenda for helping me ride a century, even if it was on 2 bikes.
