Pouring rain most of the morning.Towards end of ride felt like a storm blowing in, heavy wind and I heard some trees cracking and crashing down nearby ( always a little unnerving when surrounded by trees ). During a stop, I discovered I snapped a rear spoke during first half of ride, fortunately my wheel didn’t go too far out of true.
Rode this one to the post office to send out a Rocket Ray today...and the buttholes closed early, 1pm, no lunch signs or anything. Rode home then drove to the main post office.
Rode this one for the last time, to meet it's new owner. She gone!
Two-day warming trend here so climbed aboard the modern Ibis for a mid-day local tour. Snow is hanging tough on the north facing trails above 8000 feet, even in the 50's today. The Sun continues to show its' face less every day, so one more storm will mostly likely end the riding for another season. Here in the mountains, you can really feel the change in seasons. Wet and sloppy in the shady spots quickly transformed a clean bike into a mess in one ride.
