My other bikes were feeling a bit put out with all the attention I’d been giving my new Panther, so I took the ‘46 DX out for a spin this afternoon

Had the 36’ Roadmaster out today for a cruise into Anacortes. Temps holding at 60 degrees high noon.
Excellent progress on the new Skate Park. Lads are doing the Lords work ! Can’t wait to take my 76’ Banzai for a shred.

Used to be so easy to blast over there from here...but the ferry got shut down.... maybe it will get restored someday.....all we have is the dock here in Sidney now to remind us. Great shots.... Thanks for sharing!

I was born in Victoria B.C. and literally chose my house here in Washington based on that ferry route from Anacortes Wa to Sidney BC. Spent my entire 30 year career with Caterpillar waiting to get as close to home as possible at retirement while residing Sate side. Moved up to Washington State from San Diego mid 2019 and then covid hit and the ferry shut down. Im still pissed about it and it will now be 7 yrs before it opens because they have to redo all the facilities refit the ship, re pave the parking lot etc etc bs bs bs. I now travel the long way around or take a ferry from Port Townsend and another from Port Angeles.
Maybe we can ride together sometime. I like eating Gyros at Maria’s Souvlaki in Sidney ! Now im ticked off again lol appreciate your post

Busted!!🤣😂

When she first arrived I noticed she was wearing the Black Sabbath, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath t-shirt (in my size) & checkered Vans that vanished from my closet in 1984. Since she wasn't quite that old I was confused that she may be a time traveler and was mocking me. Once I figured out the Vans were the wrong size & didn't raid my closet in 1984 I had to apologize to her for thinking she stole my favorite t-shirt. She's really nice, assured me she didn't take it and had a laugh & actually said I could have it to replace the one that was stolen.🤣🤣🤣 Ended up talking for a bit.

Like me, she hits different parks in the area for some fun. Perhaps we'll meet again one day.🤷‍♂️ Another fun part at various tracks. I usually end up meeting some cool people.🤙
