Rode a “ Hiawatha” today

After the bright sunshine yesterday, very dark, cloudy, gloomy day today. So rode over to abandoned mill to get some color from all the walls covered in graffiti.

Heard some eagles making their distinctive chirping down by the river, so started looking in the trees for the white head feathers. Spotted one almost instantly

It’s a ways off but, just to the right of the center of pic you can see the white head. I stopped to look and 3 to 4 more eagles flew out of the trees.They really seem to have a sense of when there being watched even from this distance.

I rode 20 miles today.

Same bike/route, prepared for rain.

Tide is pushing in, glassy conditions.

i try to always have a "shower cap" with me, "For such a time as this"; 32 miles today, only wet for 6

CRAZY weather here. We had subzero mid Oct. snow for Halloween, then it melted slowly and we had 50 degrees the last 2 days. I LOVE IT!! Green grass even!! I took the Panther for a scoot. Dang, I thought I deleted that ( Yes, that is my HAPPY FACE) freaken selfie. I'm outa control on computer or camera. That sorry looking puss is well earned with life in the fast lane!! Ha!!

Riding my Diamondback Sand Streak 6 to Old Town Scottsdale tonight. About a 5 mile round trip.
