Rode by the airport. This was the only Spitfire on the field today though!

Cross the street and there's one on the wall of the Liquor store...

...next to the bar, Air Devils Inn.

Got this one out today for about a 5mi shakedown, hoping to seat the nasty bead humps in both of these tires. No luck, guess I'll swap tubes since the valve stems are trying to retract and the tire is puckered in at the stem, no twists either like I expected to find. I Really hate the way the 90s HD tubes were made!

This was the only Spitfire on the field today though!

I was thinking about this bike, on my early ride;
"Scored" this at a garage sale (at the Wedge) last April.

It's a great "Work" bike, saddle swapped for a restored B-1, bigger bars and "Air-cushion" Schwinn grips.

Out around town on the 39 AutoRat and weird the Circle Fountain still under construction months after big crash, guess there has been some problems?, stopped by to ck out some friends new store and around the corner one of the best restaurants in town ( the filling station is in a old gas station ) empty, between meals?, damm! always a big line when we want to eat there.

Finished and rode a new build today and haven’t posted my rides for awhile so thought I’d share. I rode a 40-41 Elgin long tank today.

No snow here but super cold for here, 15 degrees while I was riding and with wind chill -15 degrees. I think coldest day I’ve ever ridden. Was using some tools at local bike shop in Arlington Wa to complete this bike this morning , it was so cold, decided to stick around town today , rather then go to my normal gravel trail where it’s even colder.

I’m used to riding all winter in cold weather, but riding into the wind with the windchill today was getting the best of me and giving me a headache

Beautiful clear sunny day today, though.

Rode about an hour today .
