My wife and I took a short vacation to Jensen Beach Florida from California. Just returned home 3 days ago. The Airbnb we stayed at had bikes for us to use. She hadn’t been on a bike in several years. But like they say, it’s just like riding a bike! We made a couple of runs up and down Indian River Drive. Indian river (Intracoastal waterway ) in the background.
Got the welding done for my fork repair and decided to build it up to this point. Then took my '57 tall badge CT out for a shake down cruise. Not too bad for a 66 year old roadster.
That’s for sure! View attachment 1978626

The last time this bike had been ridden for any length of time, it was in Italy.
It seemed to be right at home here in California.
Sporting a new look with some new treads today. After reading @Miq, @tripple3 and @SKPC posts of their long rides Sunday, I was pumped yesterday to try for my longest ride of the year. After couple miles I realized my tires were garbage on gravel so aborted idea yesterday. Today with new Fat Frank tires, I was ready to try again.
Accomplished my goal and did my first 50 mi gravel ride of the year. Thanks for the motivation guys!
