spotted this mysterious black ring at Disneyland, never thought I’d see this mysterious ring in person, i always see it on social media

I rode my 2021 SE Fast Ripper along the local river trails today for 2 1/2 hours.

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School which I attended in the 70’s.

St Joseph’s Catholic Church where I was an altar boy for a couple of years until I was fired! I was swinging the thing with the incense at the end of a funeral but as I walked down the steps out of the church it hit one of them and broke open. Needless to say the priest wasn’t impressed and my career as an altar boy was over.

I spotted a few incredible period homes as I took a short cut between 2 river trails. This very original and unrestored Victorian era home. It looks to have never been repainted.

The smell of the eucalypt trees along the second river trail after last night’s rain was incredible.

A final stop at a local velodrome. I’ve been looking for it for a few years. I rode my 20” bmx on in it with a few mates in the early 80’s. It was built in 1913 and looks to have been restored in recent years.

I got a windy ride in this morning. Recently installed nexus 3speed with an 18 tooth front sprocket from the CABE classifieds. And a 12 tooth cog from Old’n’Slow bikes. Which is awesome by the way!
Perfect gears for a rough road with a little grade on a windy day.

Took the 1962ish? Spaceliner/Flightliner (someone can fill me in on this) along the Arkansas river walk in Canon City today. Bought this from a thrift store more than a decade ago because I recognized it had a two-speed hub. Added Bell tires, rear rack, Schwinn Breeze fenders, bottle cage, and a seat. Rides fine. One of a kind.
