After dinner ride on the river walk on the ‘77 Spitfire. River is at flood stage.
Gotta love the Big Texan version of Dutch city bike handlebars on the Schwinn paper bikes!
I got this ‘95 repop Columbia frame in a trade a few years ago. A mate imported it and one of the chain stays got bent in transit. I’ve straightened it out and fitted some parts to it from my pile.
Today I fitted a layback post, Brooks saddle and some decent Mks pedals from one of my other bikes for the shakedown ride. I only rode it for about 20 minutes and was surprised how nice it is to ride, so much so that I may even keep it.
1995 Columbia Superb. Even repop bikes need a little love every now and then!
Took this rocket (I call rocket #7) for a ride today!
I love the ratty look. I took it down to basics because I love seeing the Alexander design without a lot of distractions.
Great day with above average temps hovering in the mid to high 70’s and a low steady breeze.
The 37’ Iver Johnson Streamline is always a comfortable ride. One of my most original bikes. Do need to select a prewar fender light to fill the hole though.
