You have to start somewhere & 4 is more than just riding alone. The Longmont Bike Night is in it's 19th season(I believe) & is the longest continuous group ride in the country, or something like that, and runs from mid May through September. Check it out on Facebook if you're into that or looking for ideas to get something started in your area. I think it shows number of riders, cumulative miles, pics, etc. I'm pretty sure it didn't start with a large group. We end this season on September 20. Oktoberfest!🍻
Cool. Thanks for sharing the info. I'll keep trying to put something together for later this season, or next.

Blew the cobwebs and sawdust off the '35 Colson and went to check the tide at the Beaver boat ramp. Tide is slack. Got a pic of a '54 Chevy/56 Packard/ whatever custom there.
Ugly, but cute? The car............

Rode with my wife on our tandem

FF4BD57A-1EC2-4A7A-9FEA-3F50FA882F0C.jpegMy wife wanted to match her longest ride of 50 mi this year, so we did some exploring, got off our normal route and rode some power line roads that intersected a paved road and took us to this recently built campground we wanted to check out.

Then we rode out of the town of Darrington up the Mountain Loop Bi-way , it’s a beautiful climb along the Sauk river that heads up into the mountains. A few miles up we entered Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National forest

We stopped at a hiking area we recently went hiking at, used the restroom and turned around for a fun descent back into town, then back to the trail.

On the way back I said “ we done at 50?” She said “what’s a metric century?” 62 mi,” I said , she said “ that’s what I want to do,” so we rode 62 mi today.
