Rode a “37 C Model today

Been dumping rain here last couple days, the result a lot of flooding of nearby rivers. Yesterday I aborted going to my ride after the 2 lane hwy I drive to trail I ride was flooded.

It was raining hard again this morning, so I was gonna stay home and work on bikes. My buddy told me the hwy was clear so I headed out later in the day.

I took this sweet riding, 1987 (I believe), Schwinn Sierra in smoked chrome for a quick spin.

This bike has nice wheels, cranks, brakes, and components, perfect for a klunker build!

I'm not sure if I'd be ruining a bike I shouldn't if I transferred its nice Japanese bits onto an old straight bar klunker frame, and then turned it into a sweet nexus 3 or 7 speed cruiser!

Took out the Firestone Cruiser today. Great riding bike with Moms old Androck basket she had on her Raleigh Sport. I use it more than I thought I would.

Found it one soggy day at the dump at the bike section. Usually for 5 bucks, but my My Dad was a Senior so they gave it to us for free. It had a large retro plastic child seat on the back & those gross 80s black foam grips...
