Late afternoon ride on my '48 Klunker. 30 years ago I used to ride mountain bikes in those mountains you can barely see in the background, now I'm doing good just riding 8 to 10 miles on fairly flat ground. At least I'm still riding I guess.
I had planned on starting on a bike build yesterday since it's going to be a low key Christmas this year. Since I needed a brake cable & housing I decided to throw the dirt jumper on the truck & hit up "Roots" after finding what I needed for some fun in nice weather before snow arrives for Christmas Eve.
This is where my love of pump track riding began and it's been a while since being here last. A good reminder of why I like this place so much. The clouds finally cleared for about an hour and was a fabulous afternoon of fun.
