Out for a nice windy cruise on my Roadmaster Klunk-Delivery after creating my own temporary basket bracket. I say temporary since I'm hoping to get one from Jaf-co in the not too distant future, my order is in.
I absolutely adore this 1940 Ace Hollywood. Rode all over my hometown today. The trail goes along the creek, and skirts the downtown area, it wraps around to a park, then through a second wooded park with a frisbee golf course, and then heads out of town and connects to a much larger trail, I turned at the cemetery, visited some relatives, checked out the historic fountain (still evenings projected to dip below freezing, so no water, went through some mid century neighborhoods, through the high school lot, and then around some newer suburban neighborhoods for a total of 12 leisurely miles, averaging 8 and a half miles per hour. That’s down from the 13mph on the 8 speed Ranger.
I made it to the track as the sun broke through the clouds for a couple hours of fun. Kinda cool how the shadow from my bike made a cross on Easter. Another blessed day!
Got out for a nice cruise on My '41 Shepard Torpedo after swapping out the seat and post. Pics taken post ride since I forgot to take a camera with me. Nearly done with it until the drop stand gets here.
