Rode a ‘37 Schwinn straight bar badged “The World” today

Started early right before day break.

Complete reversal from yesterday weather wise, rain all morning and about 10-15 degrees colder. Even getting a dusting of snow again in higher elevations.

Stopped at the néw memorial park along trail and got a pic of the Schwinn in front of this beautiful outdoor fireplace.

I rode 25 miles today.

Still working; picked the SPITFIRE out for fun.

Foggy start, rode out of it, noticed the Waning Crescent Moon shining behind me.
16 mile work-loop ride total today; and most days, work gets in there.

Got away from the office after midday for a 2 hour cruise around the city on the 29” SE Big Style.

St Judes Anglican Church, competed in 1874 with its stunning polychromatic brickwork. The work around the windows is truly amazing.

The cast iron work on these homes is probably the best I have seen in the city.

@RustyHornet This is my Suburban with 700c wheels. No fork swap needed. Small adjustment to the brake pads and you’re sorted.

4-4-2024 riding to work, housing tracts and Newland, Heil, and others.
I look at license plates, just for fun connections; "SPIRIT4" passed me, tripping the light to green... for me!
Tried to see other plates, to no avail, but did get all lights "green" today.
Crazy fun things, that happen when you ride a bike, and pick up "Clues".

Perfect. I’ve got a tall frame early collegiate that I’d love to do something different with someday. Lighter wheels and internal gears!
