I rode my Harvard for Bike Night & the theme was "Stripes". Again, 200+ folks on bikes at one point.

Sadly, we were taken along a route not conducive to large groups. Families with crying, bleeding kids(nothing serious) off the back due to being cut off by cross traffic, single file crossings, etc. This has been occuring more lately & not good. I've been to every Bike Night since 2016 season & considering not being part of this any further. Perhaps I'll discuss it with the guys that have been doing this for the past 20 years to keep it safe & fun for everyone. Especially those with small kids.

On a positive note, my friend made a new t-shirt to replace the one I broke!🤓

One of my neighbors has been trying to give me his road bike for basically the price of a good lunch. He is retired from riding bikes and is my size. It’s a 50cm 2006 Trek Madone 5.2.
I took her for a quick burn on this 8 mile track of the Centennial Trail from Mount Vernon to Arlington Wa. 30 minutes each way shaved a bit of time off one my vintage rides on this route 🙂
Mid 60’s and oh so Green everywhere ! Great to be in the saddle

@Sportyworty your picture of the trail shows your at Bryant Wa. Which is 18 miles from Mt Vernon, from the end of the trail Nakashima farm it is approx 13.9 miles to Mt Vernon . There is no trail past the farm, the land is private and rails to trails could not purchase it back. As someone who rode this trail many years nearly everyday I know this trail well. The centennial trail runs from Nakishima farm ( North Arlington ) to Snohomish wa.
