I finally got to ride a 26” Schwinn with a Springer front. Nice action !
This 47 ish B 607 finally got the wind between its spokes again after a very long hold over. 21 carefree miles on a Friday. What’s not to love.
Have great rides this weekend Cabers !

Pencil stand pic for the die hards 😆

Short ride on this 41 Elgin
Im playing around with the ergonomics,
put a longer seatpost in & had some wider bars stashed but probably too wide these are 28”
Probably contemporary too, The OG bars were a hair under 22”
I’ll try to find some bars in 26” and should be a better fit & look
As im not used to half moons .
If anyone is looking for long seatposts contact @mac9lxx I bought a few from him & they are great for the Knees

Rode into the city of Oxford yesterday morning for a hospital appointment.
On the '57 Raleigh once again.
Took a meandering route including the River Thames path, pictured near Iffley Lock.....

...all good with the consultant at the hospital.
A gorgeous day again so I managed to add in another 5 miles to the route home, giving me a total of 45 miles on this old thing in the morning.
More miles added later on the Pashley trades bike, but no pictures taken.
