Today’s weapon of choice. 2000 Dyno Roadster. 8 miles on a sunny day. Happy Memorial Day weekend Cabers.

Heard a large twin reciprocating engine plane fly over earlier today and rode to the small airport to see if it landed back there. It was certainly something manufactured before noise pollution and hush laws were put in place.

No luck!

There was an airshow somewhere though as planes and helicopters were taking off in matched pairs...I tried getting a picture but the timing must have left the planes behind the leaves.

Destination , Reservoir!

The weather was perfect today!!! A little chill with some heat from the sunny skies.

Spotted a duckling and mother basking/napping in the sun!

10mi ride...wish I didn't have to work tomorrow or I would have went further.

No car shows, no bike nights, no dusty trails with beautiful verandas, just me and my ‘60 Vette for eight miles through the burbs, again.

was headed home, when over-whelmed by large group of bicycle riders, riding, so i joined the eager cyclists, rolling the river trail, spotted Pete @SKPC
Fun times for Saturday, 54+ miles, didn't spend a dime!

This part close to the Botanical Gardens is overgrown and fun to ride through. Weird for the desert

Did some Klunking up to the saddle at Hole In the Rock. It was crowded today but it’s always busy at sunset. Didn’t see any other klunkers. Schwalbe Marathon Tour tires did better than I expected in the rocks and sand.

I rode some single track from Hole In the Rock up to where Governor Hunt’s Family Tomb is located. I have never visited this iconic white pyramid in Papago Park.

The view from Gov. Hunt’s tomb is fantastic. A 360 degree panorama of the east valley.

Back on my regular route.

The different textures of the water on each side of these buoys was cool

Took a few photos of the setting sun reflecting off buildings

The reflection of the sunset and bridge behind me in these columns was amazing.
