Finally got around to servicing the 2-speed hub, so, the Corvette is back on the road. Gotta dig through my storage to find fenders and front/rear carriers.

I met some friends for the monthly Old Bikes Club ride my 1919 Mead Ranger arch frame around Denver yesterday. As usual, it was a lot of fun!
It's a shame most of the pics won't upload.🤷‍♂️

We were blasting through one area that the guys in front came to an abrupt halt! There were goat head shrubs covering the path!!!😵😮 (you can kinda see them behind my bike) Fortunately, after they flipped their bikes to pick thorns, nobody had a flat!!! Amazing...

We ended up at Ruby Hill Park with lots of dirt jumps. Nobody rode them from our group but we did ride a few sections of singletrack around the perimeter. Super fun!!

I had to cut out early to meet my Mom & Stepdad who were in town to start his next round of cancer treatment. I was a little early so I went to the Christkindle Market a couple blocks away to look around. Saw some talented dancers & other wonderful Christmas trinkets.

Played hooky today. Good thing I’m the only worker and boss :) Enjoyed everyone‘s vintage ride posts over the weekend and had to do it !
This 36’ RoadMaster was my first vintage crush and will always be special.
Low 40’s this morning with peek a boo of sunshine in Anacortes, Wa.

I grabbed this Nishiki International today. This was part of an estate. It was ridden and maintained.

It even came with some nice lights, a pump, and helmet. Rubber is great, all it needed was air!

I took it for a quick spin on the bike path. It rides, shifts, and brakes nicely. The geometry is funky compared to what I'm used to. I haven't ridden a ten speed in decades!

Some of the parts could be useful for some projects, but it seems a shame not to just run it for now.

Has anyone put different bars and seat on something like this to make it more comfortable for bike path cruising?
