Went for a lunch ride yesterday, because we had a few errands to do. Why not, beautiful Autumn day here in town.
Love this time of the year.
Our downtown neighborhood Ace Hardware store
Had to get a car key cut, so stopped at Bode and Bode Lock and Safe. They have been serving Sacramento since 1911.
City added a few more bike lanes in our downtown recently. We love it.
For Friday treat day, I gave her an old wooden yo-yo. It was mine when I was young and plus…
…it was her birthday week.

Thats a good looking bike just the same. My friend Steve used to buy up all the 7 speed Schwinns he could find and swap out the rear hubs. He then resold them.

Thanks! I’d been wanting a multi-gear bike with a modern drivetrain, but didn’t want a modern-looking bike. The gear spacing leaves a little to be desired IMHO, but it rides smoooooth.
