@ozzie, Love the blue and the look of this Hornet build.
Thanks mate. I bought it on ebay. The seller had the tank and most of the other parts listed but not the frame so I asked if he had it and he did. I struck a deal for the frame, tank, fork, crank assembly and chain guard. The blue really stands out in the photos and it rides great.

Hard to believe its the beginning of February, temps near 60°.
I pulled out the only rideable / ridable prewar machine today I own, my 1940 Western Flyer. I took it for a spin around the neighborhood.

Big fan of this ride @Sven , really enjoy it everytime you post it. Maybe you should ride it more so it becomes easier to ride and I can view it more.😁

Finally some blue skies and it's Friday. Rode some errands during lunch hour; felt good to be back on our old balloons.

Had to ride around Oxford to visit the hospital today; very sorry to hear about your colleague @ozzie.
Used the '96 'Orange' mtb as I knew I was heading uphill at one point.
Pictured along the way back, by the kitchen entrance to Brasenose College, where my maternal grandmother worked when I was a very young lad.....

...I've always loved the fauns that adorn the entrance.
