I rode my 37 Colson DBR ,only 7 miles down the road then had to head back stated raining again in north Texas. Every one enjoy the ride and Happy Chinese New Year!
Year of the DRAGON This year kinda a big deal!
Headed out for a nice ride on my '57 BFG Truck. It's pretty much done for now, until I'm ready to paint it. I haven't even decided on color yet though. Not a bad riding bike, even if it is a Schwinn.
Took the new 41/49 Shelby out for it’s first real cruise, but not before slapping some more modern rubber on the rims. Must say it rides pretty nicely with the Kenda knobbies. Not my first choice of tire, but I had ‘em available, so on they went.
Typical later ride yesterday on my 34 Shelby Flyer moto, 31mi. out to and along the coast.
San Gabriel Mountain Range in the background. Benjamin Harrison, somewhat influenced by John Muir in 1892 protected 555k acres, even Obama protected 345K ac in 2014.
The Santa Ana riverbed (now a channelized engineering solution) slowed down from the big drain from last weeks' rains. One year back in the late 60's I remember it was running 2/3's full, that's a lot of water.
Out for a little ride with my good friend Jamie this morning.
Only a little over 10 miles, but great fun on the circa 1900 'Abingdon' tricycle and Jamie's newly discovered, and very sympathetically restored 1936 'Raleigh' RRA.....
