Saw this earlier in the week. After finishing the workweek I decided to get out just to ride to this!

Well, After a couple of weeks I am back. Spent a week in Arkansas with my daughter. Also explored Missouri. Got home for 3 days,then off to Las Vegas for OBC 2024. Tenth anniversary. Today I rode over to the lakes and found a new little friend who was crawling along the fence line. He was trying to find a spot to get under and over the other side.

Guess this wasn't the best choice in foot wear for bicycling. But it wasn't bad at all.

Got out for the first ride on my 1964 Columbia Newsboy Special. Felt great to be finally riding it after working on it for the past month. It is built like a tank and weights a ton, but when it is rolling it feels sooo smooth. Love the “unitized” frame/rack and space age finned chain guard.

10 miles on my 64 Columbia Newsboy Special

Raining hard this morning again, so figured I’d just ride my crusty CWC Hawthorne again, which was still in my van from yesterday.

Not a lot of visibility on days like today , so not a lot of good scenery pics to take.

Besides rain, battled wind later in ride. Feeling more like fall than spring, but nothing new weather wise for here. Better on days like today to zone out mentally and put body into ride mode. The time goes by a lot faster that way.

Entrance to new park right along trail .

I rode 22 miles today.

Another test ride to finish working out the bugs….rides excellent except for the bent neck and bars that weren’t divulged, like a lot of the stuff going on, on the all original untouched up bike….Lmfao…just take’s time, especially when you gotta figure out all the “original parts “ but all good…..it’s about the ride
