What bike did you ride today?

Happy Saturday! Rode to meet a co-worker and former co-worker for lunch. 6.5 miles round trip on the '77 Ross Gran Eurosport. Took a circuitous route to the restaurant to avoid traffic but rode through a number of areas strewn with glass. Nothing short of amazing that I did not get a flat. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Fun ride day. Went to the park with my son in the afternoon.

Tonight I finished a new battery tube and light system for my 64 Newsboy, so I gave it test run on a late night ride around the Tempe Town Lake. Headlight is a 60s Delta Lark that I resto-modded with a bright warm LED in the front and two yellow afterburners.

The knob adjust the headlight‘s brightness so I don’t melt people’s faces coming toward me. UV purple side lights for a modern touch.

Taillight is a custom made red LED light with a red berry lens. I integrated it into the rack.

Worked great!

37 Westfield today for 30mi. Nice later ride out to the coast, but windy with airborne sand in one direction then very fast speeds the opposite.
